What it does
Tapas hosts serialized comics and novels while winding down its service. Its official notice schedules the end of content access for March 31, 2027 at 23:59 PT.
Tapas has announced an end of service on March 31, 2027 at 23:59 PT. The FAQ says this also ends access to previously unlocked content; those unlocks cannot transfer to another Kakao service. Treat the platform as a time-limited reading service rather than a permanent library.
Additional Ink, including free Ink, has been unavailable since October 1, 2026. Existing Ink can still unlock episodes until the service closes. Read the current end-of-service FAQ before relying on older help pages about buying or earning Ink.
Watch out for
- Service and previously unlocked content access end March 31, 2027
- Additional Ink is no longer available
Best for
- Existing Tapas readers checking access before closure
