What it does
Humanity Schedule is TCP Software's employee scheduling application. It brings together availability, time-off requests, shift planning, mobile staff actions and time tracking, with additional tools for staffing demand and labor costs.
Employees begin with an account activation invitation. Before relying on their availability, check how the organization has configured it: the employee guide treats all hours as available until restrictions are entered. Weekly Availability records a repeating pattern, while Future Availability handles a particular date. Managers can limit which changes staff make.
For a swap, open the shift in ShiftPlanning, choose Can't Work and select the colleague's shift to trade. The colleague must accept, and the company can also require a manager's approval. Open shifts appear in Pick Up when that feature is enabled.
Managers can build schedules by dragging shifts or copying an existing pattern, then inspect staffing conflicts and role qualifications. The product tour also separates schedule planning from worked time: timesheets show punches, rate changes and overtime, while labor views compare planned and actual hours. That comparison helps locate an unusual difference before payroll preparation.
