What it does

Teamed combines international contractor engagement, employer-of-record employment and operations for your own entities. It keeps worker history and documents together when the employment model changes. People specialists support payroll, benefits and other employment administration.

Decide which company should employ the worker. With employer-of-record employment, or EOR, Teamed takes that role. Its Global Entity & Employment Operations service, called GEMO, supports payroll, benefits and governance while your business remains the employer. A transition preserves the worker's HR record; tenure is carried over where the law allows. Time-off, expense and other HR approvals share the platform.

Teamed also models when a country's headcount may justify moving to an owned entity. An alert prompts a conversation with your assigned specialist. Its Ted assistant can flag payroll anomalies, but actions require human confirmation.

Fees and first-payroll funding

Service Published billing basis
Contractor Management Monthly per contractor
Employer of Record From USD 599 per employee/month
GEMO Quote by entity or project

The EOR fee is separate from salary, employer contributions and benefits. Before the first payroll, fund both a refundable deposit equal to one month's gross salary and the first month's employment costs. Monthly terms apply, with seven-day invoice payment terms. Ending service must allow the notice required for the particular hire.

Strengths

  • Worker history can continue across contractor, EOR and own-entity arrangements
  • Payroll anomalies are flagged for human review before action

Watch out for

  • Initial EOR funding includes a salary-based deposit and the first month's employment costs

Best for

  • Growing employers deciding when to move overseas hires into their own entity
