What it does
TELASA presents a subscription-viewing catalogue, rentals and a free section, with Japanese and overseas drama, films and animation.
Choose Included, Rental or Free before selecting a title. Rentals are separate payments with their own viewing deadlines, even when you hold the monthly plan. Use the same account ID that holds the plan or rental; TELASA links access to that ID.
TELASA is for use within Japan and does not permit simultaneous viewing on multiple devices. Eligible works can be downloaded in the mobile app. Account type matters for a television setup: Apple ID and Google account access have restrictions that differ from au ID or TELASA ID, so check the supported route before subscribing through a mobile store.
Strengths
- The navigation distinguishes included viewing, rentals and free titles.
Watch out for
- Service use is restricted to Japan.
- Simultaneous viewing across multiple devices is not supported.
