TelemetryDeck

Create a TelemetryDeck account with an organization name, then choose Create New App from the dashboard's top-left menu. In Set Up App, copy the App ID. Organization members can share access to the apps and their data.

For Swift, add TelemetryDeck's SwiftSDK package in Xcode and link the TelemetryDeck library to the app target. Initialize it with the App ID at startup. Run a debug build, then open Explore > Recent Signals with Test Mode enabled: the automatic session-start event confirms that the app is sending data.

Custom events answer more specific questions. A document app might record a successful export with its format, separately from opening the export screen. User identifiers are hashed by the SDK, but arbitrary custom parameter values are not automatically hashed.

Free and paid access

New accounts receive 50,000 events per month free. Accounts created before July 1, 2026 retain 100,000 free monthly events. Allowances cover all apps in the organization. Reaching the free limit stops incoming data; upgrading can restore up to two days retroactively. Paid subscriptions move to a higher plan after two consecutive months reaching their included volume, with warning emails at 80% and 100% usage.

The API requires a personal access token available on paid plans. In the user menu, select Personal Access Tokens, generate a named token and set its expiry, up to one year. Copy it when shown: lost tokens must be revoked and replaced.
