What it does

Tellico catalogs books and other collections using customizable fields, groupings and reports. It can retrieve details from supported online data sources.

Use the book collection type, then add the fields that matter to your shelves rather than keeping every possible field. Online lookup can reduce typing, but check the returned edition. Tellico stores catalogue information; it does not turn a paper-book record into an ebook.

A report can group entries by any chosen field, so a shelf-location or lending-status field can serve a different inventory need from author and genre.
