What it does

Telr offers online payment processing, shareable QuickLinks, QR collection and dashboard invoices for merchants. Its UAE plans combine monthly and transaction charges according to payment volume. A valid trade licence and account approval are required, while a full shop website is optional for the QuickLinks route.

Telr's Social tools suit a merchant selling through messages rather than a complete web store. QuickLinks can represent a single product or event, with availability dates, stock limits and quantity selection. Share the link in an email or social post, or use its QR code in print.

The UAE pricing table includes unlimited links, branded invoices, Apple Pay and access to Tabby across its tiers:

Plan Monthly payment volume Monthly fee Transaction fee
Startup AED 0 to 9,999 AED 249 0%
Entry AED 10,000 to 24,999 AED 199 2.45% + AED 1
Small AED 25,000 to 49,999 AED 99 2.35% + AED 0.50
Medium AED 50,000 or more AED 0 2.25% + AED 0.50

Entry, Small and Medium add 0.50 percentage points for international cards. The published fees are subject to 5% VAT; monthly volume above AED 500,000 can receive a tailored offer.

For an integrated website, create an account, complete the business profile and upload the requested documents. Telr also reviews the site's terms, refund and delivery policies before activation. Its UAE sole-proprietor checklist includes a trade licence, owner passport and visa, and bank-account documentation.

Developers can use a hosted payment page or the Mobile API. Direct card capture through the Remote API has additional payment-card certification and authentication requirements, and Remote API access must be requested from support. That distinction matters when deciding how much of checkout your own systems will handle.

Strengths

  • QuickLinks support stock limits, quantity selection and availability dates
  • UAE plans include branded dashboard invoices
  • Hosted payment pages and the Mobile API offer alternatives to direct card capture

Watch out for

  • Low-volume UAE tiers charge a monthly fee
  • Direct card capture through the Remote API requires additional certification and activation

Best for

  • UAE merchants comparing link-based payment collection
  • Licensed businesses choosing between social selling and integrated checkout
