What it does
TextQL is an AI data scientist that connects to a company's data stack and answers questions in plain language. Ana, the agent, writes SQL, runs Python, searches the web, and produces charts, reports, dashboards and files. TextQL says it connects to more than 50 sources without ETL. Accounts are created with a work email or Google sign-in, and a demo can be requested from the site.
The site lists connectors for warehouses and systems of record such as Snowflake, Databricks, BigQuery, Redshift, SQL Server, Postgres and Salesforce. It describes an ontology layer for metric definitions, Playbooks for scheduled analyses, dashboards, agents and a shared activity feed. The documentation covers connectors, SSO, SCIM, role-based access control, audit logging and deployment options. TextQL states SOC 2 Type II certification and HIPAA readiness. Pricing is usage-based rather than per seat. A v3 API and SDK, MCP reference and Helm charts appear in the docs navigation. Support is listed at [email protected].
