What it does
ViceVersa PRO compares, synchronizes and replicates files across local disks, network shares, NAS, VPN and other supported storage paths.
Select Source and Target folders, compare them side by side, then choose the execution method and save the profile. The method name matters: bidirectional Synchronization propagates changes and deletions from either side, while Backup means a source-to-target mirror that also repeats source deletions. Replication Update adds new and newer files without deleting target-only copies. A file changed on both sides is a conflict; it can be resolved manually or through the optional rule that renames the older copy with a timestamp. Archiving can preserve replaced/deleted versions. VVEngine adds scheduling and change-detection automation; a thirty-day trial is available.
