What it does
The New Black AI is a browser-based studio for fashion brands. It designs clothing from prompts, sketches or reference images, puts products on AI models, runs virtual try-ons and ghost mannequin shots, and makes short product videos. It also builds tech packs with size charts and bills of materials. Finished visuals can go to a connected Shopify store or to social channels. An AI agent named Mila works inside the app on scheduled tasks. Accounts start with free credits at signup.
The studio groups work into workflows: product to model, try-on, model swap, ghost mannequin, AI fashion design, sketch to design, fabric change and image to flat sketch. Video workflows cover UGC, lookbook, product 360 and ads, with 2K and 4K resolution and HD upscaling. Bulk generation is listed on the Pro, Business and Enterprise plans, with up to 30 photos per batch for Swap Model. An AI Tech Pack tool fills size charts, grading and bills of materials and exports PDF. An AI Lookbook and AI Canvas are listed among the tools. Shopify sync covers catalog, product pages and variants, and publishing is listed for Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Pinterest, X and Threads. MCP connects the studio to Claude or ChatGPT, and API documentation is published. The site also links a demo concept store whose items are marked not for sale yet.
