What it does
Noun Project supplies icons in PNG and SVG for presentations, websites and visual communication. Search individual symbols or browse matching sets, then choose a free credited download or a paid licence without attribution.
Start with the Icons search, or switch to Icon Sets when several symbols need to share a style. A set can supply related images for a presentation, while an individual SVG can be edited in a vector design tool. Both PNG and SVG downloads are included in the Free Account option.
Check the licence attached to the chosen icon. CC BY icons require creator credit when used for free; public-domain icons have no copyright attribution requirement. A paid royalty-free licence removes the credit requirement. The help centre also offers a single-icon purchase, so a subscription is not the only paid route.
Noun Pro is available monthly or yearly and adds unlimited attribution-free icon downloads and the basic color, background and rotation editor. Whole-set downloading is a separate Pro+ upgrade. Noun Studio credits pay for more detailed editing or generating matching icons, rather than replacing the ordinary download plan.
Merchandise needs a closer check: where an icon supplies the main value of a product for resale, the standard purchased licence allows up to 1,000 units per licence. Larger runs need separate arrangements.
