What it does
The Rumpus publishes fiction, poetry, essays, comics, book reviews and interviews. It highlights both emerging and established writers.
Try a short original piece when you want to assess a writer before choosing a whole book. Reviews and interviews then provide another route through the literary community. The publication’s mix of forms is useful when you want reading beyond the standard book-review list.
Monthly and annual memberships include exclusive material, while Letters in the Mail is a separate postal programme. Check the format and access label if a recommendation points to one of those offerings.
