What it does
The Tie Terminal brings digital-asset market, derivatives, news, on-chain and sentiment data into an institutional research workspace. It offers configurable screens, charts, dashboards and alerts, with data APIs available through a separate access route.
Start a comparison with an asset group, a time window and the question you want to answer. The Terminal's screener filters tokens by taxonomy and market metrics. Custom news feeds narrow the sources and tags, while charts can overlay news, token releases or transfers on a selected asset or sector. These views help investigate timing; an event occurring beside a price move does not prove that it caused the move.
Dashboards combine the relevant widgets, and alert triggers can follow metrics, news or on-chain activity. Teams can also build custom analytics with SQL, Python or the AI Widget Studio. Use the underlying data to check an AI-generated interpretation before relying on it.
The separate API offering covers datasets such as sentiment, news and token-release schedules. The Tie describes release-schedule research drawn from project documents, governance proposals and vesting contracts. That is a different input from a social-sentiment measure, so retain each dataset's meaning when combining results. API documentation places keys behind login.
New Terminal users are directed to Schedule a demo; existing users have a dedicated login. Access and reuse rights depend on the applicable agreement. The published terms grant access for internal business purposes or as otherwise agreed, so an internal research subscription should not be assumed to permit redistribution.
The company's advisory, messaging and staking services remain separate products. Evaluate Terminal as the research workspace described here, with the datasets and user access your team actually needs.
Strengths
- Charts can put market series and dated events in the same research view
- Source and tag filters help narrow the news used in an analysis
Watch out for
- Coinciding news and market movements do not establish causation
- Redistribution rights depend on the applicable agreement
Best for
- Institutional researchers comparing token markets with news and on-chain events
- Teams arranging shared digital-asset research around selected datasets
