What it does
ThreatLocker provides organizational application allowlisting, ringfencing, storage-access and other endpoint-policy capabilities.
ThreatLocker is useful when an organization wants to define what applications may run and what they may do afterward. Its current page separates allowlisting from ringfencing and storage controls. Inventory normal software and its dependencies before enforcing a policy. A legitimate update or helper process needs an approval route, so the operational workflow matters as much as the rule.
Strengths
- Application execution and behavior-policy controls
Best for
- Organizations maintaining explicit endpoint application policy
