What it does
Threekit’s visual-commerce platform includes Virtual Photographer, which creates 2D product imagery from 3D files. It combines material libraries, configurable product choices and lifestyle-scene generation for product presentation at scale. Pricing is quoted for the catalogue, visualization requirements and project scope.
Virtual Photographer renders product configurations from prepared 3D assets and materials. White-background views can be generated in bulk, while lifestyle views use a stage containing the product and its surroundings. Configurable products need discrete option values so the renderer can identify the combinations.
Open an Item, choose New render job and select a Stage. Name the job, use Limit Configurations to select the variants, and choose the render type and resolution before starting it. Job filters show its status; View opens the finished results.
Images can be inspected from a render job or through View Renderings on the Item. The 2D player switches between attribute combinations, connecting the generated images to the product's selectable options.
Large configuration sets may need layered imagery prepared by a 3D art team. Lifestyle stages also require suitable 3D scene assets. Concurrent activity can affect render time.
Pricing is quoted for the product catalogue, visualization needs, timeline and scope. Threekit says customers own the assets and content created for their implementation.
