What it does
Tink provides open-banking payment services and financial-data enrichment for businesses and financial applications. Its European platform separates payment initiation from account and transaction data products. A free account provides sandbox access with test data; new production customers need a tailored commercial agreement.
For an invoice-payment integration, prefill the bill and account details, then place payment access in the app, website, email or QR code used by customers. The bank-payment journey asks the customer to consent, choose a bank, authenticate and select the paying account. Tink Console lets the business follow transactions, download reports and automate matching payments to invoices.
The invoice tools can also let customers pay several bills together or schedule payment for a future date. Establish which banks and payment types are supported in the intended market before adding those choices to the customer journey.
For a reporting application, Data Enrichment instead categorizes transactions, identifies recurring costs and predicts upcoming regular payments. A subscription overview, for example, can use those recurring records to show the user's fixed commitments. This is a different permission and data flow from authorizing a bill payment.
New prospects should ask sales for product-specific pricing. Tink's pricing page says its displayed Standard and Enterprise arrangements apply to existing customers; they are not an offer of the same terms to every new business. The invoice product describes a fixed fee per transaction, while the FAQ rules out a general pay-per-use access option. Confirm how processing and the wider platform agreement are combined.
