What it does

ToDiagram is a browser editor that turns structured data into diagrams. Paste JSON, YAML, XML, CSV, JSON Schema or Mermaid and the editor parses it as you type and lays out nodes with ELK. You can drag to rearrange, click to inspect, search nodes, validate against a JSON Schema, and export as PNG, JPEG or SVG. Parsing and rendering happen in your browser, and diagrams sync to the cloud only when you save or share.

ToDiagram helps when a payload or config file is hard to read as plain text. Paste JSON, YAML, XML, CSV, JSON Schema or Mermaid and it draws a graph you can drag, search and inspect. Editing works both ways: change a node and the source updates, or edit the structured view and the diagram redraws. A JSON Schema can validate as you type, and failing paths light up on the diagram. Diagrams export as PNG, JPEG or SVG. Parsing and rendering happen in your browser, and diagrams sync to the cloud only when you choose to save or share. An MCP server works with coding agents such as Claude, Cursor, Zed, VS Code, Windsurf and Continue. The free plan lets you create and edit diagrams and store and share up to 3 diagrams, with basic PNG and JPEG export plus API and MCP access. The site does not state whether an account is required, and it does not state whether the software is open source.
