What it does
TokenPocket is a free mobile and extension wallet with token approvals, application access and asset-management tools. The optional KeyPal hardware wallet and utilities such as BatchSender serve separate signing and transfer tasks.
A token approval gives an application permission to spend a specified amount from an account. TokenPocket's Approval Detector helps inspect those permissions after using several applications.
Select the wallet you want to check, then open More Tools and Approval Detection. It recognizes the current blockchain, and the address field can inspect another public address. The results show the approved contract, allowance, approval time and transaction identifier, with links to blockchain records. An unlimited allowance deserves deliberate attention because it is not restricted to one planned purchase.
Revoke Approval submits a change that sets the allowance to zero. Check the contract and network before authorizing that change. The wallet's separate Approve section can also flag risky permissions and offer batch revocation, while the detailed tool lets you inspect each permission first. A warning label is a reason to investigate, not proof that every unflagged application is safe.
New wallet setup is network-specific. For example, choose Base from the add-wallet list, create the wallet and save its recovery phrase. Android's guide uses a wallet name and device-local password; iOS starts with the wallet name. Both routes require backup confirmation, without a conventional service-account signup.
The app is free. TokenPocket's transfer guidance attributes ordinary network charges to the blockchain and says it adds no transfer fee of its own. Other trading, bridge or purchase routes may quote separate costs. Revoking permission does not recover assets already transferred, and an inspected token can still lose market value.
Strengths
- BatchSender prepares payments to multiple recipients
- Wallet downloads can be checked through the linked Authenticity Check tool
- The mobile app, extension and optional KeyPal provide different signing arrangements
Watch out for
- An unlimited token allowance can expose more than the amount of one intended trade
- Permission inspection does not establish that a token or application is safe
Best for
- Wallet users reviewing permissions left after application sessions
- People who need contract and allowance details before revoking access
