What it does
grepWin is a Windows search-and-replace utility with regular expressions, file filters, saved pattern presets and context-menu access.
Start from a folder’s Explorer menu, restrict the file types or sizes and run a grepWin expression to find the intended files. Save the expression as a preset for a recurring job. Command-line use adds explicit choices for paths, exclusions, replacements and backups; /k requests backups, while immediate replacement without it asks whether to proceed without them. History also has controls: /nosavesettings avoids saving settings and history, and portable mode keeps its INI beside the executable. Current releases require Windows 10 22H2 or later.
