What it does

Topol is a drag-and-drop editor for email and landing-page designs, with reusable blocks, personalization tags and exports to email services. PRO includes unlimited templates and HTML exports, while Team adds shared editing and comments. The hosted editor offers a 14-day trial before a paid subscription.

Save a block when the next campaign needs a starting copy; use a synced section when future changes should reach every template using it. Topol explicitly distinguishes these two forms of reuse. A campaign-specific product row can remain independent while a shared header follows central changes.

Smart merge tags are inserted in the editor, but the sending platform supplies their recipient values. Dark-mode preview is also a view of the design: it does not change the exported HTML. The receiving email service still needs to supply the recipient data and send the finished message.

The hosted PRO package includes unlimited templates and HTML exports with a 50 GB image-hosting allowance. Team adds shared work and comments, with three included members and further seats charged separately. Use Start 14-day free trial to register for the hosted editor. The template created during the trial remains available to keep and export afterward, while ongoing production uses a paid PRO or Team plan.

Strengths

  • Independent saved blocks and synced sections serve different reuse needs
  • The hosted editor includes unlimited HTML exports

Watch out for

  • Dark-mode preview does not modify the exported HTML
  • Hosted images have a 50 GB allowance, and extra Team seats cost more

Best for

  • Email producers reusing campaign layouts before export to their sending platform
