What it does
Toucan Studio is the self-service software side of Toucan's analytics platform. It connects databases, APIs and files to a semantic layer, dashboard-building tools and embedded conversational analysis.
Toucan Studio is Toucan's self-service analytical platform, called Core in its current documentation. It connects source data to shared metric definitions, dashboards and conversational questions. Managed Custom Apps are a separate service.
In the Library, use Add visualization > Add dashboard, or describe the dashboard in the AI prompt. Add existing charts or generate charts from a prompt, then arrange them in the layout. A working database connection is required.
For an interactive filter, select Add Filter, choose its type and name, then use the link icon to connect it to a chart and database column. Repeat that link for each affected chart. Close the filter editor, try the interaction and check the saved status.

All plans allow unlimited users; annual billing reduces the published monthly rate by 15%. Signup creates an account and organization, with email verification required before analytics access.
