What it does

Trackwallet keeps income, expenses and recurring payments in a mobile money manager for Android and iPhone. Its budget view translates a spending plan into an amount available per day. Core tracking is free and can be used offline without an account; Premium adds multiple accounts, live exchange rates and backup tools.

Keep spending in categories and subcategories, then review it in the chart, calendar or timeline view. Recurring entries can record rent and subscriptions automatically instead of requiring the same manual entry every month. With Premium, separate records for bank cards, cash and wallets show both individual and combined balances.

For a quick iPhone purchase, long-press the app icon or use Apple's Shortcuts app to start a transaction. For a longer review, Android can export a PDF containing transactions and account summaries.

Premium options

US iPhone purchase Price
Monthly US$2.99 per month
Annual US$19.99 per year
Lifetime US$39.99 once

The monthly and annual options renew automatically. There is no Premium trial; purchasing starts the charge immediately. Prices differ by region and platform. A purchase is tied to the Apple or Google store account used to buy it, and Restore Purchases restores access on another device using that same account.

Strengths

  • The iPhone version includes a Premium offline-backup option.
  • Category conversion preserves the spending already counted by an iPhone budget.

Watch out for

  • Cloud backup requires creating an account, even though local tracking does not.
  • The current iPhone app requires iOS 18 or later.

Best for

  • People maintaining a spending diary during travel or unreliable connectivity
