What it does

Tradervue combines a trading journal with charted entries and exits, setup tags and performance reports. Its free plan accepts 30 imported trades per calendar month, while Silver and Gold remove that limit.

Tradervue's journal places entries and exits on a chart while its notes capture the reasoning around the trade. Consistent setup tags let you compare a particular approach across days, rather than relying on a few memorable winners or losses.

Tags can be added during import, on a trade's detail page or in bulk. For the bulk route, select the trades, choose Add Tag from Select Action, enter the tag and submit it. Reports > Tag Breakdown then compares individual tags or combinations. Time-of-day and symbol reports provide a different view from inspecting one trade's chart.

If you use several brokerage accounts, Silver and Gold provide a separate Account Tag field during import. Reuse the same account tag for that account's files. This keeps executions in the same symbol from being merged across accounts; ordinary setup tags do not perform that job.

Plan Monthly price Main distinction
Free Free Imports up to 30 grouped trades per calendar month
Silver $29.95 Unlimited imports and accounts, broker sync and advanced reports
Gold $49.95 Adds exit analysis, maximum potential profit analysis and commission/fee support

The free quota counts grouped trades, not individual executions, and applies when you import them. A large historical file can therefore use the month's allowance immediately. Re-importing the file after upgrading or the next month adds the previously omitted trades.

An account is required. The Gold signup page offers seven days free, followed by the monthly charge. Switch to the free plan before the trial ends if you want to keep using the limited journal without a subscription.

Strengths

  • Connects charted executions with notes and setup-based reports
  • Separate account tags prevent cross-account merging in the same symbol
  • Free quota counts grouped trades rather than every execution

Watch out for

  • The free plan allows only 30 imported trades per calendar month
  • Commission and fee support requires Gold

Best for

  • Active traders comparing setups across their recorded trades
  • Traders keeping several brokerage accounts separate in one journal
