What it does
TradingView brings price charts, financial statements and market screeners into a shared workspace. Its Pine Script language lets you build indicators and chart strategies. A free Basic account is available, while paid subscriptions raise chart, indicator and alert limits.
Start with a symbol and a chart
Open Supercharts to compare price history with company financials. Pine Editor is where you write custom indicators; Bar Replay lets you revisit earlier market periods. TradingView also provides simulated trading and connections to selected brokers. Broker eligibility is separate from a charting subscription.
What the free account includes
Basic allows one chart per tab, two indicators on a chart, a 30-symbol watchlist and three active price alerts. You can sign up without a credit card. Essential increases the chart allowance to two and indicators to five; Plus, Premium and Ultimate raise those limits further.
Use the plan comparison to check the specific alert and historical-data allowance you need. For example, keeping several indicators visible on four charts requires more capacity than Basic provides.
