What it does

Trezor Suite is the free companion app for managing a Trezor hardware wallet, including balances, transfers and integrated buying or swapping. Desktop, browser and mobile versions have different connection limits. Full iPhone signing support requires the Safe 7; older models have more limited iOS use.

Choose the connection that matches your Trezor before choosing an app version. The installed desktop and mobile apps support features that the browser version does not, including Bluetooth on compatible devices.

Browser access

For the web app, open suite.trezor.io/web in Chrome, Edge, Brave or Opera. Connect the Trezor by USB, enter its PIN and allow the browser's device-access request. A charge-only cable will not provide the required connection.

Firefox and Safari lack the WebUSB support required by this route. Browser access works on supported computers and Android phones, but not on iPhone or iPad, and the web app cannot connect over Bluetooth.

Mobile differences

Safe 7 works with the iOS app through Bluetooth. Safe 5, Safe 3, Model T and Model One can use Android, but their iOS functionality is limited to activities such as viewing a portfolio, buying and receiving. Signing other transactions with those models requires desktop or Android access.

Suite organizes assets into accounts and provides transaction history, coin control and custom-backend settings. The October 2026 desktop update changed Receive to begin with an asset search and added CSV trade-history export. Updates roll out in stages, so the exact flow can depend on the installed release.

Cost and recovery

The app download is free; a Trezor device, blockchain fees and integrated provider charges are separate. A device PIN and wallet backup serve different purposes. If a device is lost, recovery depends on the saved wallet backup. The web-app guide says backup words should be entered on the Trezor device, never into a browser or app.

Strengths

  • Desktop, web and mobile routes provide alternatives for supported hardware.
  • Trade-history CSV export and separate asset accounts help organize records.

Watch out for

  • The web app requires USB and a Chromium browser.
  • Older Trezor models cannot provide full transaction signing through the iOS app.

Best for

  • Trezor owners choosing an app and connection for their device
  • People managing several supported assets with hardware transaction approval
