The quick start begins in Tripo Studio with a clear, well-lit image of an object against a simple background. Choose the detail-focused or topology-focused mode, generate the model, then rotate and zoom the preview before downloading. Its export menu includes FBX, OBJ, GLB, USDZ, STL and 3MF.

That initial model can enter a broader editing workflow. Smart Mesh offers a topology-focused route, while Smart Segmentation separates parts for further work. Texture tools address surface appearance. These controls serve different purposes; changing a material does not correct the shape of a generated component.

Free access provides 200 monthly credits and one concurrent task. Free models are public and restricted to non-commercial use, with limits on storage, editing history and exports. Pro adds private models, commercial access, segmentation and multi-view generation. The annual Pro offer is USD 240 per year, displayed as USD 20 per month, and supplies 3,000 monthly credits and ten concurrent tasks. That monthly figure is an annual-billing equivalent.

The terms require rights to submitted images and other inputs, and require users to assess outputs for their intended use. A paid plan's commercial allowance does not clear somebody else's reference image or guarantee exclusive results. Inspect the exported asset in its destination workflow before relying on it.
