What it does
Diffinity is a free Windows diff and merge tool with line, word and character differences, folder comparison and encoding-mismatch warnings.
Open two file paths in Diffinity, or pass folder paths to enter folder comparison. Inspect line, word and character changes, using manual alignment where related passages do not line up. Encoding warnings can reveal a representation mismatch before editing. In version 0.9.6, Ctrl+E copies selected lines across; Save writes only the focused editor, while Save All or Ctrl+Shift+S saves both sides and all tabs. Choose the save command for the side you intend to change. That release requires .NET 8.
