What it does
Trullion provides accounting and audit workflow tools, document-data extraction, lease-accounting support and a shared accounting-knowledge layer. Its lease tools link extracted terms to the contracts behind them. Businesses discuss their portfolio and required features with Trullion for pricing.
Trullion brings structured accounting records and source documents into the same platform. Its workflows serve corporate accounting and audit teams, while a knowledge layer holds internal guidance and supporting material.
From contract to journal entries
Upload a lease as a PDF or Excel file. Review the extracted terms and payment stream, then set the discount rate and lease type. Trullion calculates the schedule from those inputs. After review, lock the contract and run the journal-entry and disclosure reports. Later amendments are recorded as modifications, preserving the earlier terms.
NetSuite has a native connection that sends journal entries directly. Other accounting systems can receive Excel or CSV exports using the organization's account mappings.
Extraction beyond standard fields
The lease-abstraction tools can extract text, tables and custom fields. Teams can write questions for details specific to their own contracts, with document links for checking the answer. For example, a custom prompt can look for a particular renewal clause, with the answer checked against the contract before it is used.
Pricing depends on portfolio size, complexity and selected features. Contact Trullion for the applicable quote; using the workspace requires an account.
Strengths
- Version tracking retains earlier lease data for review.
- Document translation and summaries are available alongside lease extraction.
Watch out for
- Extracted lease terms and accounting judgments require review before the contract is locked
- Accounting systems other than NetSuite use the documented file-export route
Best for
- Controllers reviewing lease contracts before generating accounting entries
- Accounting and audit teams extracting recurring details from many documents
