What it does
TryHackMe provides cybersecurity guides, practical labs and learning paths for beginners through experienced learners.
A role-based path gives TryHackMe's lab catalogue a sequence. Start with fundamentals if the tools are unfamiliar, then choose offensive or defensive work according to the skills you want to build. Its scenario-based format is useful when reading a security explanation alone leaves too little opportunity to apply the idea.
The browser AttackBox supplies a ready-to-use Linux machine for lab tasks. Free users have a daily time limit and selected rooms; Premium expands beginner paths and AttackBox time, while MAX adds advanced content. Path-completion certificates and separately purchased professional certifications are different outcomes, so inspect both the plan and credential before enrolling.
Watch out for
- Free access is limited to selected rooms/paths and one hour of AttackBox use per day
