What it does
Children's shows and games with preschool and school-age routes from Ontario's public educational broadcaster.
TVOkids combines programmes with games rather than presenting every topic as a formal lesson. The preschool and school-age routes help adults begin with a suitable section of the collection. Choose an episode or activity around a child's current interest, then ask them to explain a character's decision or something they noticed. That conversation can give media time a clear language or reasoning task.
The collection follows the Ontario curriculum. The site asks children to get a parent or guardian’s permission before using external links, including its YouTube route; choose the section and any linked viewing service together.
Strengths
- Separate browsing routes serve preschool and school-age audiences.
