What it does
TypeMates offers retail font families, custom typefaces and test fonts for design proposals. Commercial licences are perpetual and selected by medium, including desktop, web, apps and electronic publishing. Test fonts can be used in layouts and pitches before a production licence is purchased.
The TypeMates catalogue shows the styles and script coverage of each family. Cera Pro, for example, lists Latin, Cyrillic and Greek, while other families have their own coverage and style counts. Use a family page to inspect those details before obtaining test files.
At checkout, select the media that will use the font: Desktop, Web, Mobile Apps, Digital Ads, Electronic Publishing or Server Automation. The web option is for self-hosting; server automation covers generated documents. All licences are paid once for perpetual use.
Test fonts are intended for layouts, presentations and pitches. An Enterprise Licence, arranged directly with TypeMates, can cover unlimited media and use when ordinary selections do not fit a large organisation’s needs.
