What it does
Jeremy Tankard Typography publishes original families including Bliss, Enigma, Hawkland and Ravenscar. It provides an explorer, specimens, publications and custom StudioType work.
Use the Test panel to set your own words, change size, apply OpenType features and inspect the glyph set. If a layout needs more evaluation, Get a demo builds the selected font from the master files. The demo retains features but watermarks part of its glyph set and permits evaluation only. Enigma’s Text, Display and Fine designs offer a useful comparison when a project spans body copy and large headings.
Desktop, Web and App licences have a single fee and a 50-year term. Changes to the licensed scope can add costs. Printers who install the fonts need their own rights; the documented alternative is to supply a PDF with only the used characters embedded. Brand logotypes and electronic publications require a discussion with the foundry.
After payment, an email link delivers the fonts. That link lasts 24 hours or until the download, so keep the files and licence information together. Desktop and app purchases supply OTF files; web purchases include WOFF, WOFF2 and CSS. The Support page also explains installation and accessing OpenType features in applications.
