What it does

Helm is a software synthesizer offered as a standalone application and in several plugin formats.

Choose the standalone application for an instrument outside a workstation, or match its LV2, VST, VST3 or AU plugin to your host. The developer lists Linux, Mac and Windows with 32-bit and 64-bit variants.

Helm is Free Software with source modification and redistribution rights. Check the current package and host requirements before choosing the plugin route.

Evidence

Standalone versus LV2/VST/VST3/AU and platform/bitness choices establish a specific instrument route, but the short source lacks synthesis controls or a complete input/output workflow.

Limits: AI review of saved source passages. No hands-on test, human approval or automatic-provider checker receipt.

Separate website checks

These checks do not add points to the SI Score. They inspect the website's HTML, not the product in use.

Unconfirmed details may be unassessed, absent from the pages checked or temporarily unreadable. A missing price does not mean the service is free.

Supporting pages for product usefulness, site facts, prices and separate website checks. Each record keeps its own date. Reading a page does not establish how well the product performs in use.
