What it does

Ualá provides a peso savings account through its mobile app in Argentina. Opening and maintenance are free, and customers can transfer money, pay household bills and use a prepaid card. Ualá Bank offers accounts from age 13, with additional incoming-money limits for minors.

Get a usable record of your money

Tap your balance, then Documentos de la cuenta. Movimientos últimos 30 días emails a PDF of recent activity. For an older month, select Resúmenes, choose the month and tap Enviar movimientos por mail. Constancia CBU in the same area provides a shareable certificate of your bank account number.

Payments and cash charges

The Pagos area covers household services and top-ups. For Argentine tax payments, choose Servicios, then Pagar servicios and ARCA. Select monotributo, autónomo or VEP according to the payment you need, and enter the requested details. ARCA is Argentina's tax authority; these options cover different tax obligations or payment slips.

Transfers to and from bank accounts or virtual wallets are free. For the ordinary peso savings account, Link and Banelco ATM withdrawals cost ARS 4,000 each, including VAT, and withdrawals through nonbank networks cost ARS 1,600. Cash deposits through those networks cost 1.5% plus VAT up to ARS 100,000 monthly and 3.5% plus VAT from ARS 100,001. Salary and social-benefit accounts have separate withdrawal exemptions.

Registration and younger customers

Teenagers register in the Android or iOS app with a valid Argentine DNI identity document. They can open independently from age 13, with incoming funds capped at three statutory monthly minimum wages. A parent or guardian can approve a higher amount through the emailed process.
