What it does
UBS E-Banking manages Swiss accounts, payments, cards and bank documents from a browser. QR bills can be scanned or uploaded, and standing orders keep repeated payments organised. Customers can change document delivery and search an archive covering up to ten years.
Keep statements where you can find them
Private clients can switch delivery in E-Banking under Documents > Settings for bank documents > Change delivery type. Choose Everything electronically for the relevant delivery address. The setting also applies in Mobile Banking.
Statements and tax documents can then be filtered and downloaded without an additional charge. Digital records remain available for ten years. Some documents still arrive by post, including letters containing login details. Wealth-management and corporate clients arrange the change through their adviser; document access can be restricted to authorised accounts.
Everyday account tasks
Scan or upload a QR bill to populate its payment details, use eBill for electronic invoices, or create and adjust a standing order. Home-screen widgets and account labels make several products easier to distinguish. Debit-card settings include spending limits, permitted regions, temporary deactivation and replacement requests.
E-Banking itself is free for UBS clients with an active Digital Banking contract. Swiss account packages have separate prices:
| Package | Monthly price after any introductory period |
|---|---|
| Easy | CHF 0 |
| Classic | CHF 8 with the qualifying relationship; otherwise CHF 13 |
| Gold | CHF 18 with the qualifying relationship; otherwise CHF 23 |
| Platinum | CHF 43 with the qualifying relationship; otherwise CHF 48 |
The discounted paid-package rate requires at least CHF 10,000 in assets or UBS building financing or a mortgage. Classic, Gold and Platinum advertise six months free. Easy includes a personal and savings account, a debit card and UBS ATM withdrawals.
