What it does
UI Color Picker samples pixels from an image and copies their colour values. It also extracts editable palettes with CSS, Tailwind, JSON and PNG export options.
Drop or paste a JPG, PNG or WebP image, then use the magnifier to target a pixel. Clicking or pressing Enter copies its HEX code; RGB, HSL, CMYK and HSV values are also displayed. The history keeps previous samples available. Images are processed locally in the browser, with a 10 MB file limit.
For a broader set, open the palette generator. It groups similar image colours, offers sorting by frequency, hue or lightness, and lets you change a swatch or pivot the suggested harmonies around it. Export a HEX list, CSS variables, Tailwind colours, JSON or a PNG reference.
A dominant palette may omit the exact pixel picked by hand because it summarises many pixels. The tools are free without login. Their terms permit generated colour values and code in commercial projects, subject to rights in the supplied image; displayed CMYK values do not guarantee a printed match.
