What it does
UNED Abierta is UNED's open-education platform, providing online courses that can be studied free in listener mode.
Listener access gives UNED Abierta a useful place to begin with a subject. Browse the open-course catalogue and inspect the activities before deciding whether you need any separate assessment or certificate route. The site uses Open edX technology, but its own courses and learning community are the service described here.
Audit mode provides the course content free. A paid completion credential requires reaching the course pass mark; UNED recommends paying after passing because failure does not qualify for a refund. Its certificate and ECTS information should be checked for the selected course and the receiving institution before planning academic credit.
