What it does
Unspam.email checks email authentication, spam signals, inbox placement and visual rendering. You can run limited tests without an account or register for larger monthly free allowances. Paid Custom access adds scheduled testing, longer result history, API access and DMARC monitoring.
Select the test that answers the question. Unspam's spam test scores a message against authentication, content, blocklist and HTML signals. An inbox-placement test sends a copy to seed inboxes and reports where those copies landed. A device preview examines rendering, while the heatmap is an AI prediction of visual attention. Those outputs describe different aspects of the same campaign.
Copy the session's testing address, send your message to it from your usual email platform, then choose See Your Spam Score. Expand the individual warnings to investigate authentication, content or link problems. A team comparing a template correction with a sending-configuration change should keep the test type consistent between those checks.
The main monthly allowances are:
| Access | Spam tests | Inbox-placement tests | Device previews | Results kept |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| No account | 3 | 2 | 1 | 24 hours |
| Free account | 5 | 3 | 3 | 14 days |
| Custom | Choose quantities | Choose quantities | Choose quantities | Three years |
Free accounts need no card. Screenshot and heatmap quotas are separate. Custom bills selected tests above a monthly minimum; one placement test counts once regardless of the number of seed inboxes. Extra top-up credits never expire but require an active Custom plan.
Strengths
- Different tests separate message checks, seed placement and visual rendering
- Allowances are based on test use rather than sender-account count
Watch out for
- Free test history is retained for 14 days
- Non-expiring top-up credits still require an active Custom plan
Best for
- Email teams comparing message, authentication and rendering diagnostics before sending
