What it does
University of the People offers online programs in subjects including business, computer science, health science and education.
Use the academic-program list to find the field you want, then review its curriculum and entry requirements. University of the People's tuition-free description should be read alongside its full fee information before planning costs. The online model is the delivery route; admission, assessment and the demands of the selected program still require separate attention.
Tuition-free does not mean a degree without charges. The 2026/27 undergraduate catalogue lists an application fee and an assessment fee for every end-of-course assessment, including non-degree study. Financial assistance is conditional, and fees can change; budget from the applicable catalogue rather than the tuition headline.
