What it does

UPayments gives Kuwaiti businesses tools to collect customer bills, operate online stores and manage rental income. The service connects those activities with a merchant dashboard and payment gateway. Merchants need to register and complete account verification before using the full service.

For a customer invoice, open Payments, choose Create Invoice and then Create New Invoice. Select an existing customer or enter their name and contact details. Set the currency, item descriptions, prices and quantities; add the reference, expiry or attachment where needed. Review the Invoice Summary, then Send Invoice or Generate Invoice Link. The second option creates the request without sending it.

Payment Plan divides an invoice into dated amounts, while Recurring Invoice repeats the bill on a daily, weekly, monthly, yearly or custom schedule. These controls serve different billing arrangements, so choose them for the obligation you actually want the customer to receive.

Set up rental collection

In URent, choose Properties and Add Property, enter its location and details, and add the units with their rent amounts. Units can also be loaded from a CSV file. Set the reminder dates under More Features. Then use Tenants and Add Tenant to enter the renter, assign the property and unit, and choose the payment day and cycle. The tenant can use their dashboard to see current and previous rent and maintenance requests.

Account verification covers business and authorized-person details, legal documents and banking information. If a submission is rejected, review Account Feedback and use Edit Details to correct it. Request the current tariff and deposit schedule for the particular invoice, gateway or URent arrangement before activating it.

Strengths

  • Staff permissions can separately control refunds, invoice editing, revenue visibility and report access.
  • Gateway refunds can be partial and can be repeated until the original payment has been fully refunded.

Watch out for

  • Invoice Payment Plan installments require the cardholder to pay manually; they are not automatically deducted.
  • A gateway refund after settlement needs sufficient merchant balance, so the account may have to be topped up.
  • Refund notifications to the customer must be sent by the merchant.

Best for

  • Kuwaiti businesses sending itemized remote payment requests
  • Property managers coordinating unit records, tenant bills and collection reminders
