What it does
UPDF edits PDF text, images, and links and provides annotation, page organization, form, conversion, and OCR tools. Desktop and mobile editions are part of the same product family.
On Windows, open the Comments panel, filter by type, colour or author, then export a summary as PDF or text. PDF export can group notes by page and include only the filtered comments. This is useful for sending focused feedback separately from the source file. Free saves carry trial watermarks; conversions allow two files per day, batches two files and trial OCR five uses. A paid account covers four connected devices. Check the document licence separately from AI: an AI-only purchase does not unlock paid editing.
Strengths
- Combines direct editing with page tools and separate comment export.
Watch out for
- Free editing saves carry trial watermarks; buying AI alone does not remove document-tool restrictions.
Best for
- Reviewing and revising PDFs across desktop and mobile
