What it does

Upheal is a web platform for mental health providers. It creates AI progress notes from in-person sessions, virtual sessions, dictation, or uploaded summaries. It also covers scheduling, intake forms, a client portal, secure messaging, telehealth, treatment plans, and billing, including insurance billing. A free plan covers unlimited notes and HIPAA-compliant telehealth, and signup starts a free 30-day trial.

The AI clinical notes page lists templates including SOAP, DAP, GIRP, BIRP, EMDR, PIRP, SIPR, PIE, Intake, and MSE. Sessions can be captured in English, Spanish, Portuguese, German, French, Italian, Mandarin, or Hindi. Custom templates can be built from 170 clinically approved sections. A Compliance Checker flags missing elements and aligns notes with payer standards. The site states recordings are deleted automatically unless saved. Upheal states SOC 2 Type II and HIPAA compliance. A browser extension can fill notes into an existing EHR.
