What it does
Upstox provides Indian investment accounts and research tools for stocks, mutual funds and other securities. The investor interface emphasizes company insights and recurring investments; Upstox Pro adds multi-chart layouts and options analysis. Brokerage and maintenance depend on the account and service selected.
The investor view includes analyst ratings, an investment checklist and risk-and-return information. Pro displays up to eight charts, an option chain with sensitivity measures called Greeks, and open-interest analysis. Those measures describe contracts rather than a company’s financial strength. Uplearn courses and short videos support learning the distinction.
Delivery brokerage is ₹20 per executed order. Intraday brokerage is the lower of ₹20 or 0.1% per order. Delivery sales also incur a ₹20 depository charge per security per day, plus GST, alongside other statutory and exchange charges.
Open Demat Account begins with a mobile number. New customers receive a first-year maintenance waiver; the stated non-BSDA annual charge afterward is ₹300 plus GST. Upstox Plus is a separate paid arrangement with different rates, so check which account plan applies.
