What it does
UrbânStock supplies CGI footage and still images of reconstructed environments, including historical cities and locations. Individual shots have previews and selectable licences.
For a reconstruction of ancient Rome, shot USAIR001 shows the Great Fire reaching the Forum from an aerial viewpoint. Its product page lists 25 fps footage in HD and 4K, a 720p preview and separate digital and print-image options. Select the licence type before adding the shot to the basket. UrbânStock explicitly describes the scene as illustrative and does not guarantee historical accuracy.
Free previews are only for evaluation and cannot appear in a finished or public project. Purchase the appropriate licence for final use. The agreement permits technical edits and cropping that preserve the content’s integrity, but restricts other alterations, standalone redistribution and generative-AI use. Ask for written clarification if the planned treatment goes beyond those conditions.
Strengths
- Product pages state frame rate and separate footage, preview and still-image resolutions.
- Free shot previews allow evaluation before choosing a paid licence.
Watch out for
- Historical reconstructions are illustrative and are not guaranteed to be accurate.
- Major alterations and generative-AI enhancement are restricted.
Best for
- Documentary and educational teams illustrating reconstructed environments
