What it does
Uruky provides ad-free search using a randomly generated account number. It documents domain boosting and exclusion, prepaid time without automatic renewal and limited operational data retention.
Uruky provides prepaid search access through a generated account number without requiring an email address. Domain boosting and exclusion let users change the result mix, and the FAQ says access does not renew automatically.
The FAQ describes a two-hour proof-of-work trial at the first top-up. Voucher codes are shown once, are used once and cannot be refunded or recovered if lost. Preserve the account number and any unused voucher separately. The policy says query content is not logged, while short-lived search timestamps and hashed IP records serve rate limiting and login/signup defense.
Source access is conditional on 12 months as a paying customer and uses a restricted Business Source License. That is a different code-access arrangement from an immediate unrestricted open-source release.
Strengths
- A random account number replaces an email-based search account.
- Domain boosting and exclusion are documented.
- Prepaid access has no automatic renewal.
Watch out for
- Current source access is conditional and restricts commercial use.
- The policy retains limited rate-limit and defensive authentication records.
Best for
- People who want a small paid search service without automatic renewals
