For a shared household review, invite a partner and put the connected transactions beside the budget. Origin lets you adjust the categories assigned to incoming transactions. Invite your partner by email from your profile; they accept the invitation to join.

Build the budget around your own numbers

In Budget, choose AI Budget Builder for suggestions based on spending history, or Create my own to enter income, savings goals and category limits. To change a target later, open Edit Budget, update the category amount and select Save. Categories can be grouped as Fixed, Flexible or Discretionary.

For a monthly budget, Enable rollover lets selected categories carry a surplus into the following month. Overspending carries forward as a deduction instead. Rollover starts the month after you enable it and does not work with weekly or biweekly budgets. New categories need their own rollover setting.

Recurring payments sit in Spending > Recurring. Open a supported subscription and Cancel Subscription takes you to that provider's cancellation page. You still complete the cancellation yourself.

Membership and access

The regular annual membership is $99. Origin also advertises a $1 first year for new members while its promotion runs, followed by renewal at the standard annual rate. Existing or returning subscribers do not qualify. The usual seven-day trial does not apply to that promotion. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before renewal through account settings or support.

An account is required, and subscribers must be at least 18. Outside the US, the desktop Spending page's + Account button starts manual tracking of assets, liabilities and transactions in your currency.
