What it does
Norton VPN documents split tunneling, a kill switch and subscription offers with different device coverage.
Norton VPN's split-tunneling and kill-switch controls are the useful starting points for setup. Decide which applications should use the tunnel and what should happen if it disconnects. The plan page also makes device coverage a purchase choice.
Its renewal notice says an introductory term can renew at a different current price. Compare the full term and renewal conditions, especially if you are adding VPN access to an existing Norton subscription rather than buying a separate service.
Norton's VPN-specific notice excludes browsing history, destinations, device IP addresses, session duration and DNS queries. It still records a connection's day and VPN location for twelve months, general app events for eighteen months and submitted crash reports for ninety days. Backend transfer totals have an eighteen-month period. The policy also separates account/payment information and lets users disable third-party analytics in VPN settings.
