What it does

UXArmy offers prototype, website and mobile-app research with moderated and unmoderated methods. It includes surveys, card sorting, tree testing and local-language studies. A continuing Free plan provides 15 pooled credits each month for one researcher using their own participants.

UXArmy combines interface tests with methods for navigation and content structure. Figma integration, task branching, recordings, heatmaps and path analysis support different study questions. Results can be organized with tags, timestamped notes, clips and highlight reels, then exported in reports.

For multilingual studies, open Testing in Local Language and Check Available Languages. Language selection applies to unmoderated mobile and desktop testing, with transcription and translated feedback. Check the particular language rather than assuming every study method supports the same list.

Plans and two kinds of credits

Plan Full seats Monthly pooled credits Main distinction
Free 1 15 Self-sourced participants; no usage beyond the allowance
Starter 1 29 Pay-as-you-go overage and paid panel access
Pro 3 99 Adds three collaborator seats, roles and shared analysis
Organization Custom Agreed contract allowance Adds enterprise administration and services

Pooled credits pay for collecting responses and are shared across methods. Panel credits are an additional purchase for recruiting UXArmy participants. The Free account needs no card; its allowance renews monthly. The pricing FAQ reserves recorded usability studies, website and mobile-app testing, interviews and focus groups for paid plans.

Although test length is described as unlimited, individual recordings have limits: 50 minutes for unmoderated responses and three hours for moderated sessions. The platform shows credit consumption and any extra charge before launch.

Strengths

  • Local-language studies include transcription and translated feedback
  • Navigation methods accompany prototype, website and app testing
  • Timestamped notes, clips and highlight reels support analysis sharing

Watch out for

  • Panel recruitment requires separate credits
  • Free usage cannot exceed its monthly allowance
  • Individual recordings have duration limits

Best for

  • Teams evaluating interfaces across language and market contexts
