What it does
UXPin combines UI design and advanced prototyping with code-backed components. Merge can use built-in React libraries or a team’s own repository, while prototypes can include variables and conditional logic. A limited Free plan remains available after the 14-day trial; paid plans expand libraries, history and team features.
Design with components that already behave
UXPin's workflow starts by choosing a built-in coded library or connecting an existing component system. Assemble the interface, change component properties and themes, then export React code and its dependencies. Conditional logic, variables and expressions let the prototype respond to input.
Access after the trial
| Plan | Main allowance |
|---|---|
| Free | Two prototypes and a limited set of MUI components |
| Core | Unlimited prototypes, built-in coded libraries and seven-day version history |
| Growth | Design systems, reusable patterns and longer history |
| Enterprise | Git integration, custom libraries and unlimited version history |
Every account starts with a 14-day trial without a credit card. It can continue on Free afterwards. AI credits have their own allowances, and manual design and prototyping work independently of AI.
For a team using its own React components, check the Enterprise route before subscribing. The pricing page describes Storybook integration under Growth but its custom-library FAQ points to Enterprise; ask UXPin which setup covers your library.
Strengths
- Components expose properties, themes and real interaction behaviour
- React code exports include dependencies
- Manual prototyping does not require AI credits
Watch out for
- The Free tier allows only two prototypes
- Git-connected custom libraries require Enterprise
Best for
- Design teams working with React component systems
