What it does
Vadivam supplies 24-pixel outline SVG icons, framework packages, a Figma plugin and a migration tool for applications using Lucide.
Vadivam is an outline library for teams that want different drawings while keeping familiar Lucide names and component conventions. Its SVG files and framework packages can also be used directly in a new interface, with named or per-icon imports and a Figma plugin for design work.
For an existing Lucide project, run the migration command in preview mode before applying changes. It handles package dependencies, imports, many component names and CSS references. The shared size, color and stroke controls help preserve layout, while side-by-side drawings and overlays show where the artwork changes.
Migration still needs review. Angular uses a different directive approach, static assets require manual replacement, and names stored in strings are not rewritten automatically. Choose this library when the drawing style is the reason to switch and there is time to inspect those cases. Vadivam is MIT licensed; retain its license notice with redistributed files.
Strengths
- A previewable codemod handles many Lucide migration steps.
- Comparison views expose differences between corresponding drawings.
- Framework packages support named and per-icon imports.
Watch out for
- Angular and static-asset migrations require manual changes.
- The codemod cannot safely rewrite every icon name stored in a string.
Best for
- Teams evaluating an alternative drawing style for a Lucide interface
